All Tomorrow's Parties NY Adds the FEELIES, JESUS LIZARD and More...

     MUSIC NEWS -  1980's indie rockers the Feelies, the Jesus Lizard and the Melvins have been booked to play the 2009 All Tomorrow's Parties festival, (September 11 thru 13) at  Kutcher's Country Club in Monticello, NY (northwest of NYC).   Other artists added to the bill are The Drones, Dead Meadow, El-P, Sleepy Sun and Akron Family.   They join the previously announced  Panda Bear, Atlas Sound, Animal Collective, David Cross, Suicide, Dirty Three, as well as the Flaming Lips, who are both curating the event's final day and playing the last set of the weekend.

The Feelies, Dirty Three, Suicide, the Jesus Lizard and the Drones will all perform a full album from their catalogs on the "Don't Look Back" night, the festival's opening night.

The first ATP NY was held in September 2008 and was curated by My Bloody Valentine. It included sets by Built to Spill, Shellac, Bob Mold and EPMD, among many others.  Buy tickets thru ATPFestival.com.
