FELICE BROTHERS Chart New Tour and Album Release

MUSIC NEWS - The release of The Felice Brothers' latest full-length, Yonder Is The Clock has been announced with an April 7th release, from the Team-Love label. The album is their follow-up to the critically acclaimed self-titled 2008 record , their first with Team Love. Yonder Is The Clock is the band's fourth record, including their 2006 self-released debut Through These Reins and Gone and their 2007 release Tonight At The Arizona . Now with Yonder Is The Clock , the Catskill Mountain, NY State natives look to build upon the praise heaped upon them. The new album's title is drawn from the pages of Mark Twain's, Yonder Is The Clock, and is a nod to all of the American ghosts that lend their narrative and characters to the release. The site of the sessions for Yonder ..., The Felice Brothers studio was built from the remains of an abandoned chicken coop and it was there over the summer and fall of 2008 that they wrote and recorded this new collection of songs. The record is full of tales of love, death, betrayal, baseball, train stations, phantoms, pandemics, jail cells, rolling rivers and frozen winter nights.

The band's excited to bring new songs on the road in 2009 as they continue to take their live act to folks across the world. Simone, Ian and James Felice are the three eldest boys from a family of seven, born carpenter's sons in the wilds of New York's Catskill Mountains. Their long time friends Christmas Clapton and Greg Farley round out the group.

This month, The Felice Brothers hit the road for a nine-date run with Old Crow Medicine Show, and continue on with headlining dates throughout spring '09. Highlights include a record release party at the Bardavan Opera House in Poughkeepsie, NY on April 7th, and a swing through Austin, TX for SXSW 2009 (see full itinerary below).
