The Long Blondes Guitarist Rehabbing Stroke Effects with Robotic Hand
-
Artist:
Back in June when Long Blondes guitarist Dorian Cox suffered a stroke and made the band cancel some tour dates during the summer. Shortly after the band broke-up in October. Dorian Cox had been unsure whether he would be able to ever play guitar. But now he is using what is called a SaeboFlex glove to help regain strength in his hand. The guitarist is currently using the glove in a regimen at the PhysioFunction center in York, England. Cox still can't play guitar and is still not sure if he will ever play guitar but he says: "I know things might never be the same again, and nobody can give me a definite answer about whether I'll play guitar again. I'm getting back on track."
