Grizzly Bear's Ed Droste was interview by Drowned in Sound recently and has given new details about the upcoming album by Grizzly Bear. The follow-up to 2006's "Yellow House" is about 80% done and will still feature Christ Taylor as Producer. It will be more of a group effort with songs being written by the entire band. Chris Bear's drums will be featured more on the track. The album will have a more dynamic sound. The band is trying to capture their live sound as more people enjoy it better than the studio versions of their tracks. There will be no guests on the album besides Victoria Legrand of Beach House providing backing vocals on 'Two Weeks', Nico Muhly on orchestral arrangements and a children's choir.
