a compilation of jokes from some of the last concert appearances by the late & sublime comic mitch hedberg, entitled do you believe in gosh?, was released today by comedy central records. hedberg, who died of a drug overdose in 2005 (one of his signature lines: "i used to do drugs. i still do, but i used to, too"), recorded a series of shows at the improv in ontario, canada as practice runs for a live album he was planning, but never had the chance to make, and it is from those ontario shows that the material on do you believe in gosh? was culled. here's a sample of what you can expect:
mitch hedberg - headless horseman's horse
hedberg's two previous albums, strategic grill locations and mitch all together, both which are brilliant, are also available from comedy central records. in case you missed them the first time around, here's a track from mitch all together and a longer bit from one of hedberg's appearances on the letterman show back in 2002:
mitch hedberg - sandwiches
mitch hedberg - live on letterman
