saturday at outside lands

day two.
aside from two moments of technical farts during radiohead's remarkable set last night and a bottleneck at the exit that had people pulling down fences and unleashing swarms of angry bees, which afterwards had us icing down a sting to the jaw, friday proved a rousing start to the festival. here's a quick look ahead to our most anticipated sets for today, in order of appearance. (again find your festival map and stage & slotting assignments here .)
the coup - my favorite mutiny
sean hayes - elizabeth sways
m. ward - let's dance
regina spektor - us
ben harper & the innocent criminals - put it on me

I really attempted to sneak in for the second day, but I assume that they just tightened security by a bunch after Friday, what with how many people got in for Radiohead. Didn't happen, so I missed the Coup, who I hella wanted to see. Primus too.
anyone who saw the Coup play is LUUUUUUCKY! i wish i could have gone just to see them, coz they're one of my all time favorite bands.
