excellent review. definitely want to see this. i wonder if i'll love it just as much without having ever gotten to experience them myself live.
i watched the first two parts and was completely sold. it was artsy combined with live footage and you got a feel for the band. awesome!
If you're sold by the first two parts you'll be even happier by the ending. You have Windowsill in an elevator, explanation of Surf City Eastern Bloc, and Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out) live to look forward to still.
I always knew Arcade Fire was a great band but I was never heavy into them. Just WAIT until you see the rest of Miroir Noir... It doesn't get any better than Arcade Fire.
