Wow! I had a crush on the bass player and saw them several times at the New Orleans House, Quicksilver there and at the Jabberwocky, Congress of Wonders. Shared a table with Ralph Gleason but I was drinking too much and probably not very interesting. I bought the English compilation, but have to say it did not sound as good as recalled the Cups in performance. Very talented bunch. I have paid (through the nose) for a Seva fundraiser later this month at the Paramount Theater in Oaktown. Post brought back a lot of memories, albeit corrupted and garbled.
