Farm Aid 2008 will be broadcast live in HD on DirecTV's The 101 Network Septermber 20, 2008. The live broadcast starts at 4pm EST, featuring performances by Farm Aid president and founder Willie Nelson; board members Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews; and Kenny Chesney. Additional performers confirmed for Farm Aid include Jamey Johnson, Jerry lee Lewis, The Pretenders, moe., Arlo Guthrie, Nation Beat, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Jakob Dylan and The Gold Mountain Rebels, Danielle Evin, Jesse Lenat, Will Dailey, One Flew South and The Elms
