Tokyo's Shugo Tokumaru plays music that I can't quite understand language wise, but fully comprehend and enjoy sound wise. I'm starting to call him Tokyo's Brian Wilson or maybe Japan's Sufjan Stevens. Why? Because Tokumaru writes jaw-dropping pop songs that blossom into masterpieces through the building and construction of bells, bips, whistles, bugs, organs, birds, [...]

wow! that was a cool listen. the instrumentation was amazing and i loved hearing him sing in Japanese.
If you're interested in more, I just found out that he has a few more albums released previously. They may be hard to find, but well worth the listen.
yeha, i'm just worried i might get annoyed not understand what he's singing about. he could be spitting out satanic proverrbs in his sweet japanese for all i know. it's cool to listen to for a little while. i just heard these guys on another blog here. desmond and the tutus. i'm kinda obsessed. check 'em out. they are form south africa. up your international music alley.
