R.E.M. join Patti Smith for "E-Bow The Letter" at their very own tribute show

The music of R.E.M. was celebrated last night in a tribute show at NYC's Carnegie Hall.  Calexico took the role of the house band for the evening while Kristen Hersh, The Apples In Stereo, The Feelies, Fink, Marshall Crenshaw, and more performed tracks from the band's extensive catalog.  R.E.M. themselves were in attendance and they took the stage for a performance of E-Bow The Letter with Patti Smith.
