Editors start new blog, working on new demos

Russell Leetch (bass guitar) from the Editors is making a promise to blog this year and keep fans up-to-date on what is happening in Editors -land. In his first submission, Russell gives us a tiny insight into some new demos the guys are working on and he paints a pretty interesting visual of the music's atmosphere -

We've already demoed 10 songs and we have another 10 ready to rehearse. We're all buzzing about the songs that we've put together. You may have heard that the record is more electronic and this is true. We've been putting the songs together with different sounds from old and new synths and not just relying on guitars , combining both. We've been listening to georgio moroder, the idiot by iggy pop, brad fiedel , depeche mode, remain in light by talking heads and burial to name a few. The record feels like that hour in the night when the foxes are abundant and the lights are low, driving past the frozen disused warehouses.
