Rock Guitar Legend Robin Trower Releases New Live CD

Legendary British blues rock guitarist Robin Trower has just released a brand new live double CD set, 'RT @ RO 08' on November 19th, recorded live at The Royal Oak Music Theater in Detroit, Michigan, March 29th during the guitarist's 2008 North American tour. The Dual Disk release also contains bonus video captured at the show itself. Available exclusively only online at Trower's web site, the set will see retail release in early 2009. why have i never heard of him? who has he played with?
Charley, Trower played with Procul Harum in the late 60's, early 70's before going to tremendous success as a solo artist in the mid 70's. One of the classiest guitarists ever. Check out 'Bridge Of Sighs' or 'Live'. Amazing albums, and this is one of my personal favorites from Robin, "Daydream", with the late great James Dewar on vocals, from 1980 : Here's the title track from 'Bridge Of Sighs' also live in 1980 :
