The End of Summer Mix

Here we are in September, not quite at fall, but still in a post-Labor day (for us in the States), early September haze. Those of us in school have returned to academia, those of us who go for nighttime jogs have found the air to be a bit chili, but those of us who drive a car have still fond the steering wheel extremely hot after prolonged exposure to the end of summer sun. Mother nature seems to be teasing people in this stretch of time: it's sunny and warm during the day when most of us are at work, school, or some other obligation, and by dusk when it's time to enjoy the sun, it's already retreated behind a cloud to make room for cooler, shorter evenings. I like these days, full of twilight and new beginnings. I hope your summer was lovely, mine was - full of old things ending and new things beginning. I for one, am ready for autumn to arrive.
