Brandon Flowers of The Killers is featured on several pages from the new GQ issue . The article is titled "How To Buy A Tux : A GQ Primer" & of course he is modeling several outfits… looking extremely sharp!

GQ mini-interview [Killer Year]:

The Killers' new record, Day & Age, melds the dramatic guitar rock that put them on the map with new experiments that are distinctly off it: Think space-opera soundscapes and "A-weem-a-whep" vocals recalling Graceland. Frontman Brandon Flowers reveals where his group gets all its moxie.

Sam's Town was the Killers' concept record about Las Vegas, but Day & Age seems set there, too.
For me it's even more of a Las Vegas record. It's my job to give people an idea of what it's like to be from this desert. I had an interview with this French lady the other day. [in fake French accent] "Las Vegas represents everything that I hate about America." I said, "What do you like about America?" "Literature." I almost smacked her.

You exist in a unique zone of cool—between mainstream pop and indie cred. How did you carve out that space?
It's been over a decade since a band could be both big and sophisticated. I'm humble and I'm thankful, but I want to be better than everybody else. I call [the indie mentality] "bullshit modesty." They act like you have to be a wounded kid to be an artist.

So your position is more honest?
I'm telling you what I feel. I want to be better than you.
