Whitley announces Australian tour

It has been six months since Whitley has ventured on a national headline tour… wait no longer as his January solo tour dates have just been announced!

Having toured the States for the second time this year (most recently in support of Ben Kweller), Whitley has not forgotten his loyal fans back at home.

The January solo tour will take in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Hobart, Ballarat, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, and will see Whitley perform much loved tracks from his debut album The Submarine , as well as road test new material.

This will be Whitley's last solo Australian tour before he begins recording the follow-up to The Submarine . The sophomore album is set for release sometime in 2009.
