Chino, Calif.'s Abe Vigoda, whose Skeleton has been one of 2008's welcome surprises, brought their brand of clanging, spidery guitar pop to the rooftop of the Queens, N.Y., venue Silent Barn. Their distincitive guitars are turned way up, the vocals are pretty far down, and their deceptively catchy tunes pretty much worm their way into your brain. The title track from the latest is first, followed by "Hyacinth Girls" and "The Garden".
