When it goes down all over downtown Reykjavik October 15-19, the Iceland Airwaves festival will have finally entered the double digits. Yep, the Nordic fest juggernaut is 10, and to celebrate, they're having a party! Coincidentally enough, it, too, is called Iceland Airwaves, and you're invited!
Should you care to attend, you'll join fellow early RSVPers like CSS, Simian Mobile Disco, Junior Boys, Dirty Projectors, Crystal Castles, Final Fantasy, Handsome Furs, These New Puritans, Familjen, Stars Like Fleas, Miracle Fortress, GusGus, the Young Knives, Florence and the Machine, Planningtorock, and Ghostigital.
And, if it's anything like my tenth birthday, one and all will join in a rousing game of Street Fighter II. Not bad!
