Captured at this year's iTunes Festival in Berlin, out pops iTunes Live: Berlin Festival, a concert EP from the dudes of Hot Chip. Originally released via the UK iTunes store in May of this year, the set is finally available in iTunes-governed U.S. cyberspace as of this week.
Over Berlin Festival's half a dozen tracks, Hot Chip stretch their legs through a nice cross-section of some of their most beloved tunes, albeit sans the joy of watching a bunch of nerds get funky as shit. To achieve the same effect, just put it on for your co-workers. Worked for me, anyway.
Hot Chip will get even more live on their forthcoming world tour, which sees the boys puddle-jumping a bit through the summer and fall. And if funky nerds weren't reason enough to catch these shows, UK fans will have the chance to witness Max Tundra open a bunch of the October and November dates.
