The first time I saw a game at the Chicago Cubs' historic Wrigley Field, Mel Gibson sang during the seventh-inning stretch. The afternoon after Wilco's favorably received Lollapalooza performance, some luckier baseball fans than I got to see the Sky Blue Sky guys come out to sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". After the song, Jeff Tweedy talks about the band's Nudie-style suits, his roots as a St. Louis Cardinals fan, and the slimming qualities of a Cubs jersey. (via Brooklyn Vegan)
