Fatboy Slim Wins an Emmy
-
Artist:
Super-cute British folkie Emmy the Great has worked with Lightspeed Champion and has her own record as well. She's also guested on a track called "Seattle" by The Brighton Port Authority , otherwise known as Norman Cook, or perhaps better known as Fatboy Slim.
You should remember BPA's tune "Toe Jam," which featured guest-appearances from David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal for its striking (almost) nudity-laden video clip. The effects-heavy video for "Seattle" isn't nearly as naughty, or energetic, but it's just as interesting to watch thanks to the use of visual collage animation.
"Seattle" is the BPA's second single for Southern Fried Records. I don't know if or when it's out, nor do I know what the deal is with a full-length album.
