Filthy Dukes

British Filthy Dukes has been no strangers to the pages of top blogs & NME over the last pile of months, bringing their name to light with their Band-ability, popular DJ Sets & production skills, they've recorded a collaboration with a Girls Aloud & even landed remixes for big acts like Heloise & The Savoir Faire, The Rakes, The Maccabees, Late of the Pier and White Lies!

Their album Nonsense In The Dark has been described as one of the best of the year by Tronik Youth among others.

The boys are set to release their 3rd single Messages featuring Tommy Sparks on the 6th of July with remixes from Kris Menace, Burns, Brookes Brothers, We Have Band, Stop Making Me and the Dukes’ own Kill Em All alternate version.

The Dukes sent us the ominous stuttery remix from Linus Loves' newest label member Burns. It is one of those you must play loud to enjoy, just let it replace the white noise on your ghost transistor - can't wait for the release, I can tell the rest of the remixes will be fantastic as well by just looking at the names!

Bonus:
Remixes sliding on a trail of kickdrums are always fulfilling like Pac Man eating his little round snacks. I had no clue Tronik Youth was doing a remix too until he sent his rework in.. it's a disco marching band sort of thing with slight vocoder effect & lot's of lazer pows, one of his distortless work.
