[Question] What are you watching?

Is there anything music relevant about this post? Sort of, but you'd be a liar if you said you didn't watch a couple of television shows or at least partially submerse your soul in the cultural realm that is TV. It's hard to avoid it even if you wanted to; aside from disconnecting the cable or kicking the satellite off the roof, our mass media-navigated culture that appears uniquely American is reliant on the crafty disciples of internet and television. However, it is quite fun. There are far too many entertaining indulgences to pass up but only some stand out amongst the rest, which ones do you love?

Now I'd be the liar if I said I didn't miss shows like Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Scrubs and Curb (the latter three could still reappear, please?). There are, though, a handful of shows that I watch on a.. erm, record on a weekly basis because who actually watches live, commercial-infested TV that isn't a sports match-up? I thoroughly enjoy The Office, Heroes, Entourage, Weeds, and True Blood. The introduction of Holly on The Office this season was brilliant; Entourage has been far more hit than miss this season with more plot emphasis placed on the people around Vince; True Blood has been one twist after another so much so that Sunday nights are my favorite; and Heroes has been nothing but a continual build-up this season with a climax that I can't even begin to predict - what's going on there?

Since many of you have a fine taste in music, I would anticipate that you (may) also have a superb taste in TV shows as well. So, what are you watching right now? What shows hold a weekly spot on your TiVos or DVRs? Leave your favorite shows in the comments below.. I'll be trying to figure out what the hell happened to Nip/Tuck. Did the creativity run dry in that show or did the explosive character dynamics just sizzle out? It used to be a smart, well-written show that would always keep viewers on the edge of their seats but now it's as if they want to be nothing more than a mediocre night-time soap opera. Ick.
