[MP3] new Arizona: "Colors" (IGIF Exclusive)

Ever since we updated our "Floats Above The Rest" albums widget a few weeks ago, we've gotten frantic emails from Arizona fans about the status of upcoming sophomore album Glowing Bird, looking for news, MP3s, and whatever else that could satiate their joy-seeking senses. We've sat on the twelve new songs, soaking it all up, waiting for the go-ahead to release an MP3 to temporarily shush the growing pleas that were piling up in our inbox.

Today we're happy to release one of the album's better (but not best) songs, "Colors," a gorgeous steady-rocker showcasing Arizona's intertwined vocal duo (Ben Wigler & Nick Campbell) waxing poetic over an impeccable classic rock riff. Check it:

One of Arizona's biggest strengths has always been the tension they create in each one of their songs. Riffs explode from quiet, acoustic melodies, noise falls flat for subtle re-beautification, and genres bounce in and out, as if each track is a medley showcasing Arizona's best musical traits. On Glowing Bird, they've extended these qualities further than ever before. Check out two other songs streaming here.
