Goodbye Wisdom Teeth, Hello Vicodin

It's a bloody, swollen state of affairs on the IGIF front today, as I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled this morning. The procedure was something I'll never forget, but only because I'll never remember it either. Thanks to general anesthesia I was widsom teeth-full one second, and as I awoke from my drug-induced slumber I was wisdom teeth-less. It's sort of fitting in a way... as those tactless tertiaries were broken down into manipulatable chunks and then removed, my consciousness was none the wiser.

Now, as I sit with a head full of vicodin, a mouth full of gauze and a stomach aching of hunger, I'm left with only one source of satisfaction: my beloved music blog and the music that traverses its public corridors. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take my iMac with me on the road (just the PowerBook), so most of my music is AWOL. But I still would like to throw up a few songs for you all, so here's a mini-mix that follows today's events quite nicely (in chronological order):
