[MP3] Bat For Lashes: "Daniel"

When M.I.A. , Thom Yorke , and now Kanye West give props to a band's music, that's typically enough to get my ears' attention. And when this particular artist is making the music I wish Bjork would with a seemingly deliberate evoking of Enya, I'm definitely going to listen even if it's just for kicks.

Bat For Lashes is Natasha Khan, the lovely, quirky Brit you see in the photo above. Like Pocahontas in a vintage clothing store, eh? Anyway, I wasn't much of a fan of her debut LP, 2006's Fur And Gold , but I'm giving her another shot... particularly because of the gorgeous lead single "Daniel" from her new album Two Suns (which might win this year's coveted worst album art of the year award ).
