If you're going to write a song called 'Skate or Die' you better be living up to your words. 'Cause I'd hate to see someone be forced to die. Kody Templeman of Mid-Western pop-punk band Teenage Bottlerocket won't be getting killed anytime soon (hopefully), as he explains to SPIN: "I tried to skate. I wasn't any good, but I went for it."
Teenage Bottlerocket's track Skate or Die premieres online today. I'm forecasting it to be placed highly in my iPod playlist, and blasting in my ears as I skate all summer. I'm not sure if listening to a "... or die" song has the same qualifications as writing one, but why don't you check it out. Hopefully nothing bad will happen:
