The Nostalgic Power of Music

Going along with the "nostalgic" feelings of Fall that Chris brought up last week, it motivated me to ponder on some of my own fall favorites. Sufjan Stevens undoubtedly falls near the very top of my nostalgic-fall-favorites list. I was introduced to his "Illinois" record in the fall semester of my first year of college in Manhattan. Nearly every time a Sufjan song comes on shuffle now, I picture myself wearing a hoodie and walking through the Union Square Farmer's Market on a chilly Saturday morning.
