According to a recent interview, Pete Doherty wanted to kill himself when he turned 30. If that's what he's thinking at 30, surely at 40 he might actually go through with it, if he hasn't already.Apparently the Babyshambles rocker was so devastated when he reached the landmark birthday in April, that he got drunk at his party and began to think about jumping off the top of a hotel.He explained: "I had this bash in Paris and it was an absolute disgrace. I just made a bit of an idiot out of myself. We had a right old knees-up. I don't even know exactly what happened but I ended up trying to throw myself off the top of the hotel. I wasn't happy at all about being 30."Pete also spoke of his time when he began hallucinating after injecting horse tranquiliser ketamine while he was working on the band's 2007 album 'Shotter's Nation'.He said: "Snorting it is bad enough but injecting it is the equivalent of... well, there is no explanation. One minute you're a perfectly sane human being working on what should be an album you're proud of and committed to - the next you're an air hostess on an airplane bound for Portugal."Seriously, it's just a matter of time before its lights out for Pete. However, until that day arrives, let's hope he keeps writing music and reforms with The Libertines.
