Someone got their feelings hurt. Didi Benami, who started out as promising contestant at the beginning of Idol's season 9, thinks that the judges are a bit unnecessarily harsh. She said, "I mean you can tell someone something without necessarily saying, 'That was horrible, it was like a cat screeching'."Â

Uh, yeah, suppose ya could. But that would make the show duller than it already is. It's not like Didi's performances were stimulating anybody's senses as is, so if Simon lost his bite, the audience would be lulled to unconsciousness out of sheer boredom.

And really, Didi, American Idol is in its 9th season. You didn't know that Simon was a little bit nasty before signing up?
