Kimberley Locke, from season 2 of American Idol, was interviewed about the Paula Abdul/Idol brouhaha last Wednesday and she intelligently stated: "Every season there's always some publicity...I'm not gonna call it publicity stunt, but there's always a publicity stunt to hype the next season of the show to get people really counting down to when the season starts." Yes. There's no better way to not call something a PR stunt than by calling it a PR stunt. Brilliant, Kimberley!
Locke goes on to sort of pay Paula a compliment, saying that the judges are like a band, and none of its members are replaceable. But then, she says, "Let's face it, we all tune in, just as much, to hear what crazy Paula's gonna say."
Kimberley ain't lying, but something tells me Paula won't appreciate being called deranged by one of her Idolettes.
In addition to Kimberley Locke calling Paula "crazy," she also talked about her upcoming dance album that she's working on with Randy Jackson. Yikes. Didn't she see how Paula's "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" record, which Randy produced, performed? Watch the interview below.
