With the launch of first single "
No Surprise" during American Idol this past week, Daughtry is officially ready to announce the release of their sophomore album, titled
Leave This Town, on July 14th. The band's upcoming effort will include such tracks as "
Ghost Of Me," "
September," "
Life After You," "
Learned My Lesson," & "
Tennessee Line." There's no doubt this project will give Daughtry some level of success & I'm all for that. However, with Jordin Sparks' sophomore album scheduled for the same day, I have to root for her... unless a date change should occur.
