Even from behind bars Foxy Brown was "allegedly" still the Don Diva. While other imprisoned female rappers like Lil Kim & Remy Ma were cut no slack while in the pin, Foxy Brown may have been the exception to the rule.
When Brown was jailed back in 2007, word on the block is that she was "allegedly" allowed to partake in a photo shoot to promote her new album. What kind of mess is that? Now, jail officials who are responsible for Foxy's special treatment are under investigation. Pop the hood for the scoop.

Three New York prison officials have quit their jobs following a scandal involving rapper FOXY BROWN.Carolyn Thomas, George Okada and Frank Squillante reportedly allowed the star to conduct a photo shoot to promote her new album while she was behind bars and now they're at the centre of an investigation surrounding the star's alleged preferential treatment in jail.Brown was jailed for 12 months in September 2007 for violating her probation, stemming from a fight with two manicurists in a New York nail salon.She sparked reports she was favoured by prison officers at the notorious Rikers Island jail after thanking them for supporting her during her sentence.But she has since spoken out to deny she was treated differently to other inmates at the prison, saying, "It was incarceration, not vacation. I only wore the designer clothing I was allowed to have. There were certain gang colours my sneakers couldn't be... I didn't have any special visitation rights."I find it amusing that Foxy is denying the whole thing especially since three officials have already quit their job, they resigned because they are guilty of something. And besides, why was she even allowed to wear any type of designer clothes while in prison, what ever happened to the black & white "strip jump-suit"? I'm not hating Foxy, do the damn thang.
