The terror squad's #1 chick Remy Ma was sent to prison in May 2008 after she was found guilty on charges of assault, weapons possession & attempted coercion for shooting Makeda Barnes Joseph back in July 2007.

Remy Ma has maintained her innocence throughout the ordeal, hiring top lawyers William Murphy, Jr., Kenneth Ravenell and Richard Levitto to appeal the ruling.And her husband, rapper Papoose, insists the case is looking positive and he hopes Remy Ma will walk free from jail sooner rather than later.He says, "She's got some of the best lawyers working on it (appeal), and it's looking good right now."
