T-Boz has kept a very personal medical condition to herself for the past few years. In the new Oct. 12th issue of People Magazine, T-Boz revealed she has been battling a deadly brain tumor for the past 3 years in secrecy.
T-Boz revealed she had a seven hour surgical procedure to remove the tumor, doctors were forced to remove the tumor from her brain stem by making an incision on the back of her ear. Pop the hood for more.
Remember when we saw T-Boz on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice? T-Boz said she was dealing with that during that time & she simply didn't want anyone to feel sorry for her, so she kept it a secret.
"I didn't want pity. I was there to help sick children.", she says speaking of her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice.When ever she tells people about her struggle she say's people are "shocked" but "I won't let you feel sorry for me." As of today that battle is now behind her, thanks to the man upstairs.
We are just happy that T-Boz is doing great now. This goes to show you, you just never now what someone else may be going through.
