Mog & Me.

Artist:
First off I just want to extend a warm welcome to anyone who came here via the Mog Music Network. I'm excited about the launch and I hope you'll find something you like here at The Dancing Panda.
If you haven't heard of Mog, it's a brand new venture in which third-party music blogs have teamed up with Mog to create a comprehensive online music community, now including the involvement of legendary producer Rick Rubin (who I once spotted at Malibu organic store PC Greens, back when I was a lowly cashier).
So check out the site and browse the other featured blogs. There's a wide range of music taste and wonderful blogginess.
Speaking of me... just thought I'd introduce myself for any newcomers. I'm just a big fan of electronic music and started this site initially to suggest great tracks to my friends. Since my friends are lazy and never checked the site, I've geared it more toward the unknown audience that hopefully loves music as much as I do.
Through my posts, I hope to bring you a funny anecdote, news piece, music thoughts or just something interesting to read before you download the track I've got. I'm not the "post-5-tracks-a-day" bloated kind of mp3 site. I absolutely promise that EVERY track I post has my seal of approval and high recommendation.
My goal is that if theoretically, someone were to visit my site regularly and download every track into a single playlist, it would make a fucking great party dance mix. I don't post every single day, and that's only because I really want to make every track count.
And then I highly encourage you to check emusic or iTunes and download more of what you like. Pay these artists for their art! They work hard to make peoples feet tap, and they deserve it.
Other than that, I like unicorns, pandas, hula hoops, bicycles, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I work in reality television. I live in LA but I'm moving to Portland. I'm in an indie rock band that does not sound anything like electronic music.
And I really, really hope you like my posts. Please like me!!!!!
Since this post was an introduction to me ... thought I'd post tracks from my indie rock band's album. The band's name is Pro Audio, the album is Make The Happiness Stop. The sound is kind of They Might Be Giants/Weezer/Ben Folds Five/nothing you've ever heard before. If you like our sound please check out our myspace and become our friend!
Pro Audio - FU Robot
Pro Audio - Identity Theft
Pro Audio - The Entrails Song
