Toby Keith concert turns deadly

Wow, country concerts are turning out to be dangerous places to be lately. Stage collapses, college students beaten outside of concerts and left in comas, and now word comes that a fan died after Toby Keith's Friday, September 4th, concert at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in New York.

Pennsylvania resident William "Billy" Sutherland, 33, attended the concert with some friends but got separated after the concert was over. His friends looked for him but never could locate him. The next day when no one had heard from Billy his friends returned to Darien Lake and contacted the Sheriff's office.

The focus turned to Sunshine Lake, a small pond between two parking lots inside the Darien Lake Theme Park. Divers eventually pulled Sutherland's body from the water around 1:30 Sunday morning. So far it looks as though this is an accidental death.

Genesee County Sheriff Gary Maha said Tuesday that, "No type of foul play could be determined."

Maha added, "We were told he had been drinking. We don't know how much."

Sad. My thoughts go out to family and friends.
