Yes, I'm still trying to get through my email. Gab Correspondent, Elizabeth, was lucky enough to take in the last evening of the CMA Fest and from the sounds of things had an awesome time. Thank you for the great review and pictures Elizabeth! Sorry it took so long for me to get them up.
Sunday night at LP Field was nothing short of incredible. It was basically a night of the Sun City Carnival tour minus Lady A, with the great additions of Heidi Niefield, Jack Ingram, Taylor Swift and John Rich. Jack Ingram opened the show...highlight of his performance was "Barefoot and Crazy." Hiedi Niefield rocked an acoustic set, singing old hits from Trick Pony and her current hits, "Johnny and June" and "Cry." Mongtomery Gentry knows how to get the crowd going! There guys just had their 5th number 1 hit with "Roll with Me" and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon! John Rich walked onto the stage with his fur coat and cigar. John Rich may have the reputation as a badass, but the best thing about him is he makes no apologies and continues to make music country fans can relate to. Cowboy Troy and Two Foot Fred came out on stage with Rich! Miranda rocked the stage with "Gunpowder and Lead," "Famous in a Small Town" along with her new single, "Dead Flowers. Taylor thanked her fans for being so incredible and helping her realize it is okay if you're not the most popular girl in junior high! She belted out her own hits along with Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around." Sugarland was spectacular as always. Jennifer's voice didn't seem to be too much of a problem last night. They opened with "Love, then sang their upcoming new single, "Joey," a short version of "Night Swimming," "All I Wanna Do," "It Happens." Kenny closed the night as well as an incredible CMA Fest weekend! He sang "Out Last Night," "Back Where I Come From," "Summertime" and many more!
