A home once owned by Tanya Tucker's is about to be turned into a clubhouse.
Eagle Ridge Investments is planning a 482-home subdivision with an 18-hole golf course on the Franklin Township, Tennessee property once owned by Tucker. The 22,000-square-foot Georgian Colonial mansion she lived in will be turned into a clubhouse with a pro shop, restaurant, pool, pool house and a multi-sport court.
Wow! 22,000 square feet sounds like a lot, but it really puts it into perspective when you hear what all is able to fit into one house.
The planned development, called Stillwater at Mystic Ridge Estates, is currently awaiting final approval from the governmental powers that be. The golf course should be ready by fall and homes will begin construction once final approval is granted, probably this summer. Homes will start at $599,000.
Housing prices too steep for you but you'd still like to check out the property? Good news, the restaurant will be open to the public and will include a casual bar as well as outside seating.
