WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Billy Ray goes on the daddy defensive

Miley Cyrus drives me crazy, but only because she's everywhere and my daughter is completely obsessed with Hannah Montana and I get tired of seeing her face all over the place.  But despite the fact that she drives me crazy I've never once felt the urge to call her malicious names like some of the other bloggers (Perez Hilton and her currently are having a Twitter-fight which is just really odd).  To me the girl is successful and should be applauded for that.  Sure she's a Disney Machine, but I have a feeling that a lot of the horrible comments about her come from a place of jealousy more than anything else.  Heck, I wish I could have been a Disney Machine at that age.

Really, I just try and remember she's 16 and still a kid, even if she doesn't want to be thought of like that.  I think a lot of the other gossip blogs out there would be smart to remember that too.

Anyway, Jamie Foxx on a recent Sirius radio show said some really horrible things in the name of comedy.  Comedy does't excuse it in my opinion and obviously it does't in Billy Ray's either.

While chatting on today's Bonnie Hunt Show Billy Ray says, "It was hurtful. There wasn't nothing funny about it. And, quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his (Foxx's) daughter, he might not find it so comedic."

I would have liked to have heard Billy Ray invite Jamie Foxx to a boxing match, but then again, I don't suppose violence is ever the answer.

Jamie Foxx did apologize while on Leno, and now says that he plans on calling Miley and saying sorry so hopefully all will be well in La La Land soon.  Celebrity feuds are always fun to witness, celebrity feuds between an adult man and a 16-year-old girl are just sort of pathetic.
