Jay-Z Can't Lose
-
Artist:
When Kingdom Come dropped, Jay-Z was saying that 30 is the new 20, and give him credit for embodying that spirit. It's been over a decade since Reasonable Doubt dropped and Jay is still going as hard as ever. While Kingdom Come may have been one of his weaker efforts there were some songs ("Lost One", "Minority Report") that are absolute bangers, and, truth be told, the worst Jay-Z song is still better than 90% of other mcs' best efforts.
Here's a freestyle that he unleashed at his Vegas show the other night -- it's rumored that this is also going to be the introduction to Blueprint 3, but I don't know where that rumor came from -- just listen to this man, he calls out everyone from Dame Dash to The Game, and then drops this gem: "fallen men want me to sit em on my lap, but i ain't got a beard, and santa claus ain't black".
