Shawty Redd, born Demetrius Stewart, was involved in an altercation at his mansion in Atlanta in the early hours of New Year's Day. According to reports, Shawty Redd shot and killed the man as the two argued for unknown reasons.

The 28-year-old beatmaker, born Demetrius Lee Stewart, is being accused of shooting Damon A. Martin, 35, during an argument in his house just outside of Atlanta. As of press time Redd’s relationship to the man is unknown.

The ATLien is currently being held without bond in the Henry County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on January 12.
