Still trying to get caught up after an extended Memorial Day weekend, here's the latest offering from The National, tentatively titled "The Runaway", which the band performed last week at CBC's Studio Q in Toronto. The song is to appear on The National's yet-to-be titled forthcoming album (and follow-up to the band's critically praised 2007 release Boxer). No official release date has been announced for the new album but it is expected either late this year or in early 2010.
