Country singer Peter Denahy has struck comedy gold with his cult single, Sort Of Dunno Nothin', complete with monosyllabic chorus. Go and get it, it's a hoot.

The clip for this leaves a little much to be desired. I give it a tick for including scenes from the movie, which it was made for (even if it the director hated it), but everything else...what the hell?

Back in the days when television was good (but way before I was born), Adelaide television station SAS-10 (now SAS-7, thanks to a network switch with then ADS-7, now ADS-10) used Silver Convention's "I Like It" in a station ID in 1977.

An interesting find, even if it may be a user-created piece...the music video for Engel set to the English version of the song. Still doesn't take much away from the impact of the clip though.

I don't know what led me to find this clip today, but it sure does bring back some memories. The song came out around 1993, and I was in year 3 at primary school. That was when I had discovered popular music in any serious form, and in particular, the cassette! And look where it has gotten me!

Now, following on from my earlier post, here is the North American version of The Crying Game video clip.

Now, I don't know why they decided to make this version contain some sort of humanitarian message, compared to the European version, which is more suited to the song IMHO. Oh well. Enjoy!

One of the songs that stick in my head from my childhood, thanks to Ace Ventura Pet Detective, is The Pet Shop Boys and Boy George's cover of Dave Berry's The Crying Game, used by the movie of the same name (great movie BTW).

I've since discovered there is not one, but two version of the music video...in this post, here is the European version. There are differences between the two, and I'll explain a few in the next post.
