Death Cab for Cute= emo?

Posted over 2 years ago
So maybe I'm completely out of touch with reality, but a girl in my office today in giving an example of what emo is said, "Death Cab for Cutie". What? Really? Not that anyone can really define "emo" (at least that I've seen), but seriously?

  1. Flaneur says Uh, yea. But it's ok to like emo... it reminds me of how ten years ago people categorically denounced country, but now it's redeemed. Labels shmables.

Here Let me refresh, Smashing Pumpkin's "Tonight, Tonight" always managed to bring up thoughts about unrequited lust NOT love (I know that now considering my current status) from a certain someone. Anyhow, I took your advice which was quite evident. No Stimulus = No Response! Now I'm free from dismal emotions that had led me down a spiraling path into dark and gloomy places. Thanks. Hope you're doing real well. Also, "We looked like giants" by Death Cab for Cutie..It's a very pleasurable song. The lyrics are as fervent as lyrics can get. Do you have any recommendations?
