If you could interview one band/musician and ask them ANYTHING you wanted, who would you choose and why?I think I'd want to interview The Beatles. They changed the path of music and continue to have an impact on both musicians and listeners today. I'm not too sure what I'd ask them yet, but I'm sure I'd do a ton of research to come up with the correct questions before sitting down with them.

Dale says I've always thought the "What are your influences?" question very boring, so I'd ask, "What was the seminal moment in your life, when you realized that you wanted to make music for a living, and what song was playing at the time?" SPIN did an article where they asked people like Michael Stipe that very question, and it elicited some wonderful answers. If I recall correctly, Michael was eating a bowl of cherries and listening to his newly-purchased copy of Patti Smith's Horses.
