Iren says Hey and here I always thought that was a Goo Goo Dolls track.... just kidding, I just hope that the writer of the tune got a big check when that Goo Goo Dolls album sold so well... Great track of course...

benjimon says Goo Goo Dolls. I guess I never drank the Kool_aid. A lot of people compare them to The Replacements (one of my favorite bands) but I don't see it. Maybe I just got sick of seeing the "Iris" video on VH1....guess I'm a "Goo Goo Hata'"

Iren says Ben, Yeah the Goo Goo Dolls, they covered Slave Girl on A Boy Named Goo.... of course I found out that it was a Lime Spiders tune when I picked up the Do The Pop comp.... believe it or not the Goo Goo Dolls were once upon a time a very good power pop / pop punk group.... and then Name came along and they got really rich and really lame... I still think that Superstar Carwash and A Boy Named Goo are both very solid alt power pop albums... going back before that they were noisy late 80's college rock type band..
