This is what I've been listening to non stop for the past couple of days. If I were to do a Dark Side of Oz type thing with this music, it would go along well with the plot of Weekend at Bernie's... don't ask, it just makes perfect sense in my head.

The Bloodsugars have been a favorite live show of mine for a couple of years. They always inspire the best dance parties and their keyboardist, Matt Katz, has enough personality and killer moves to fill Madison Sq Garden (which they have now played.) Jason R, the lead singer, is so incredibly passionate and genuine on stage. He also has a really nice voice (similiar to Jay Clifford's of Jump Little Children) and can scream when he needs to.

BQEP does capture their live shows' excitement well. It's synth heavy- dance party music with really well written lyrics. They picked my favorites and I'd recommend it highly.
