WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Soundtrack Before Film: Revisited

Posted over 2 years ago
I've yet to see "Black Snake Moan":http://www.moanmovie.com/. I just haven't really watched any new films lately, and must make the time (Note to self).
But, I have had the privelege of listening to the soundtrack. One of the artists featured on the soundtrack is a Mississippi blues singer my the name of Jessie Mae Hemphill.

Please visit the "Jessie Mae Hempill (JMH) Foundation":http://www.jmhemphill.org/index.html Website and peruse.
"The JMH Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of roots music of the South. Its intention is to provide a means for this music to reach a broader audience, and, in doing so, to benefit the community."
What a beautiful statement.
Now time for a beautiful song.
