For those of you who have not yet taken to Alborosie...you are not on top of your reggae game. I featured the sicilian sound killa sometime ago here.

Alborosie (along with Tarrus Riley and Etana) is on top of the reggae newcomers in my humble book.

His first album, Soul Pirate, is a sweet treat. In the world of riddims, full length albums can be very disappointing..not this one. Culture, dancehall (Rankin Joe), even a little Marley cover made Soul Pirate a long reigning album in the deck.

Next month, Alborosie will come forward with his sophomore solo effort, Escape From Babylon. Here's a track listing:
